Meriel Biosciences is a newly established R&D company with a distinct approach towards immunotherapies.
We aim to exploit the unique properties of innate-like T cells, which are cells that combine features of innate and adaptive immune cells. The best-studied innate-like T cells are invariant Natural Killer T (iNKT) cells, Mucosal Associated Invariant T (MAIT) cells, and γδ T cells.
Meriel Biosciences' current focus is on utilizing the unique properties of specific iNKT cell subsets for new therapeutics and vaccines.
What we can do for you
Meriel Biosciences is open to collaborate on all R&D activities and ERA-wide projects (e.g. Horizon Europe) involving iNKT cells, MAIT cells, and/or γδ T cells.
Our team members were/are involved in the preparation of 12 European projects and provide the project coordinator of two ongoing projects funded by the European Commission.
